We're back outside!

I have not given up on the blog!

I was taking a temporary hiatus while I slept through the first trimester of pregnancy. (Yes, baby #2 is now 18 weeks along!) Now that I'm solidly into the 2nd tri-, and the weather is becoming summer-ish, we will have a few things to talk about!

Here are a few pictures from the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens -- a really beautiful place, although a little early for many flowers.

Here's our big boy -- contemplating his new hat and why it's taking mommy and daddy so long to take this picture.


Watching koi with Daddy while a big wading bird stands by. Everytime that bird flapped it's wings, the koi took a dive. I'm pretty sure they could probably take down that bird (at least en masse), but maybe the bird is tougher than I think.


The gardens have a really cute educational kids area that Carson loves. Here he is sticking his head out of a log. (Not sure what he learns from this, but it's fun!)
