Catch-up!

Since we missed a few months of blogging, I haven't shared all of Carson's activities with you. However and furthermore, I am too lazy to recreate all of the events in writing, so here is a gratuitous post full of only pictures of my adorable son.

Carson's first water slide ride! This was at our neighborhood pool in Durham in July before we left for good. He went down the slide with a little coercion from mom, but afterward told me, "that wasn't scary at all!"

Here's one from the 4th of July. We went up to Southlake for the festival and fireworks. Only, we didn't make it till the fireworks. Carson is only 2, after all. We did have a close and frightening encounter with the Chick-Fil-A cow, but, happily, we escaped with only a few coupons and no flesh wounds. (cow not pictured. just the cheese face.)


Here are a few photos from family visits -- one with Nana and Papa when they came to visit in Ft Worth, next with the Myrick clan in Texarkana, and finally, having a treat with cousin Julia at her house in College Station.


One final shot -- this is Carson sitting on the baby elephant statue at the Ft Worth zoo.
