(you may wonder why Carson isn't wearing pants. we had just come from the pool and forgot to pack a spare pair.)
Three months later, and we're moved into the new house in Ft Worth, although there are definitely a few things still laying around in boxes. Bryan is getting established in his new job, and we're on the road to getting established in the community ... finding things to do, places to eat, and, most importantly, places to shop. (well, important to me, anyway!)
Carson has been doing great with the transition, and we've been lucky to have visits already from his cousins and both sets of grandparents. We have learned that we live less than 2 miles from the Ft Worth Zoo, the Ft Worth Botanic Gardens, and the Museum of Science and History. Wow! So, now we just need you to come visit us so we can take you to see the awesomeness.
Of course, we have done a lot in the past few months, and I'm not going to post it all here. However, I vow to keep up with the blogging now that we're getting into the swing of Texas!
As an aside, this squirrel has taken over our backyard. After repeatedly eating all of our birdseed, he is now approximately as big as our labrador, and probably just as likely to steal food off your plate.
