Transitioning

I have to admit... the blogging has not been my priority this spring. Between selling our house in Durham, buying a new house in Fort Worth, arranging our new jobs (and a Texas medical license ain't no joke!), finding childcare, finishing my program, figuring out our moving dates... CRAZY!! On top of everything, poor Bryan has been flying back and forth to Texas for work, and Carson and I have been on our own here in Durham.

Overall, we've been extremely lucky with everything. For example, our house here sold quick, and we're able to rent it back for a little while. Also, we found a house that we really love in Fort Worth. Here it is from the outside:


We are really excited to be moving closer to our families, although we're a little nervous about the move to a new town and also sad to leave all our Durham friends. Over the next few weeks, we're going to try to run through our Durham favorites: Parker and Otis, 9th street, the Life and Science Museum, Nantucket, Fosters... (ok, apparently we're going to be doing a lot of eating).

Oh, yeah! In the middle of all of our crazy hoopla, Carson turned 2! Happy Birthday, Carson!
